

We supported lowering Albany’s speed limit to 25mph.
We led an effort to encourage NYS OGS to improve the Swan St traffic pattern.
We compiled traffic safety data to present to our members in 2023.
We commented on the St. Peter’s Hospital Area Traffic Study in 2019.
We have been an active participant and have successfully achieved a variety of traffic calming measures on this project. You can learn about the city’s project here.

We worked with neighborhood associations and the Washington Park Conservancy to push for a traffic study to improve Washington Park. You can read the draft report here.

We successfully passed a resolution at the Common Council to oppose the use of beg buttons in Albany! We are working with Council members to enact legislation on this topic.
